TONY HAYWARD
Tony Hayward creates three-dimensional pieces, often starting with a found object that he transforms into something new. This creates startling, humorous and thought provoking contrasts characteristic in so much of his work. Hayward trained as a sculptor at Central St Martins School of Art and the Royal College of Art. As well as being a practising sculptor he teaches Foundation, Degree and MA level courses at various institutions, runs practical workshops for Primary and Secondary schools and runs educational workshops for art galleries and museums, such as the V&A Museum, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery, Hove Museum and Art Gallery, Cartwright Hall, Bradford, Oldham Museum and Art Gallery, Ipswich Museum, The Winchester Gallery and Southern Arts Touring. tonyhayward.com
